The Durham School of the Arts Orchestra program is home to about 370 students, grades 6  - 12. These students range from beginners to advanced players. Our students are involved in music, the school community, and extra curricular events. We pride ourselves on being a pathway with a shared vision that strives for the highest standards and quality here at the Durham School of the Arts.

The Orchestra program has a supportive booster club that aids students throughout the year. The boosters support us through fundraising, parent volunteers, and advocacy efforts.

We are proud of our students' accomplishments and growth, and we strive to meet the individual learning needs of all in our program.
